We hired Centennial Painters to repaint the exterior of our home, and the results exceeded every expectation. Our house was eight years old and still had its original paint, but we wanted to completely transform it with a more timeless, classic look featuring a white body and black trim. The finished product is absolutely stunning. From the beginning, Eric and his team stood apart from every other company we contacted. Eric spent approximately 45 minutes carefully walking around our home, evaluating the condition of every surface, and explaining exactly what would be required to achieve the best possible result. Other companies were in and out within 15 minutes and provided very little explanation. Centennial Painters was also the only company that recommended fully priming the house before applying the new color. Although we selected Sherwin-Williams Emerald paint, which includes primer properties, Eric explained that the dramatic color change could still result in uneven coverage or spotting without a consistent undercoat. That level of knowledge, honesty, and attention to detail gave us confidence that they were focused on doing the job correctly rather than simply doing it quickly. Our painters, Dennis and Giovanni, spent six full days meticulously putting their experience and craftsmanship to work. They took extraordinary care to protect our windows, patio, landscaping, and everything surrounding the home from paint, spills, and overspray. Their preparation was thorough, their work was precise, and their attention to detail was exceptional. Dennis and Giovanni are truly masters of their craft. The lines are clean, the coverage is flawless, and the transformation of our home is remarkable. It looks better than we imagined it could. We are absolutely thrilled with the outcome and could not recommend Centennial Painters more highly. Anyone considering painting their home should make Centennial Painters one of their first calls. Their professionalism, expertise, preparation, and quality of workmanship are on another level.![]()

Centennial Painters did an amazing job on my home. Eric and Kristi were fabulous to work with. Eric even came out during a spring snowstorm to give me a bid. They were very professional and communicated beautifully. They saved me from a bad painting experience, swooped in and saved the house from a bad paint job with the prior painter. Plus the quality of prep work was outstanding. Thank you Eric and Kristi. I couldn’t be more pleased. And your painters were so pleasant and professional, their quality of prep work and painting was exceptional. I strongly recommend Centennial Painters.![]()

Exterior painting has been a potential project for a long time. When we finally decided it was time, we called several painters for estimates and Centennial stood out. Eric Conrad came to do the estimate. He walked the property (some folks just looked up the house online and gave an estimate based on that) and took the time to note the repairs that needed to be made. He gave me flexible options on ways to save money on the project as well. He was up front about the repairs needed and that once his crew got in there, there may be more than what was estimated so i wasn't surprised with extra charges at the end. The crew showed up day one ready to go. All of the needed repairs were made, house caulked and sealed, and power washed to prep for paint. Before they left they said they would be back at 7AM. Usually when a contractor says that they really me 9:30 but Jimmy and his crew were right on time. I had to leave for an appointment. I was gone for barely an hour and a half. I that time they had everything taped off and the house was already half painted. When they were finished and gone, you would not have even known anyone was there. They took everything with them. There were no random pieces of tape or plastic left behind. The end result is amazing and I could t be happier.![]()

*Update!* They are now Centennial Painters. We appreciated the great work they did last year on the inside of our house, so we asked them back this year to repair and paint the exterior! Even when I messed up and chose the wrong color (oops) they worked with me to fix it and am I glad! The house looks so much better. As much as any kind of house project can be stressful, Eric and his crew at Color World made our fairly large indoor painting job as easy and as efficient as possible and I would recommend them to anyone! We got an appointment for a quote really quickly after calling. I hesitated, but only to make sure it was something we were ready for. Besides, it grew from being not just cabinets we wanted painted, but walls too. Eric came out twice for two different estimates and was very patient while we made up our minds. Once the work started, they were very thorough, and fairly quick, which is always appreciated, yet I never felt like they rushed it. We went from a very shiny drastic bright color to a muted and calm grey/white blend. The crew was professional, cleaned up afterwards, and we are happy with the results. After it was completed, we noticed a few little things needing adjusting, but nothing to get too fussy over. Well, Eric came out right away, and documented the issues for correction. He even helped us with moving some drawers back to the right spots. We are planning for future projects with Color World for sure. There is nothing cheap about having someone else paint your home, but you absolutely get what you pay for, so don't skimp here. I think they are competitive with pricing. The work is top quality. I'm sure Eric would not have it any other way. Give these guys a call and see for yourself how pleasantly shocking how a good paint job can transform a space.![]()

From start to finish, going with Color World Painting and working with Eric and his crew went flawlessly. We hired them to fix some old siding on our house, as well as painting the entire home. They did a FANTASTIC job with both. The crew was so efficient, and extremely careful with our new turf in our backyard. They got the job done, made it almost stress free for me, and didn’t miss any detail. Eric was friendly, knowledgeable and quick to respond to any question that came up. I would highly recommend using Color World Painting and I am so happy that we went with them. I included a “before” picture and two “after” pics of the finished product! It looks like a brand new home!!!![]()

We used Color World Painting on a recommendation from the company we used to hang our gutters and we're so glad we did. Eric and Tony were great and easy to work with. They coordinated with our gutter installers to paint our trim before the gutters were installed and then came back to paint the rest of the exterior brick. They made some recommendations on colors as well a texturing for our brick. We are so happy with the end result and would definitely recommend using Color World.![]()

Centennial Painters did a great job on the exterior of my house; for, what I thought, was a very competitive price. I checked out a few painters in the market and I’m glad that I went with Eric and his team. Hi crew came in, power washed, primed, caulked and painted my entire house in a day. My house is a one-story ranch - so maybe not as big as some other houses out there. But I’m glad I hired Centennial Painters and I’ve already referred them to my mom for some of her interior painting needs.Posted on Google![]()

Centennial Painters did a great job painting my living room, dining room, and hallway they were very professional and very detailed when they gave me their estimate. Are There Any Downsides to Painting Kitchen Cabinets?
Cabinet painting is a smart, cost-effective way to refresh your kitchen, but it is not always the right solution for everyone. If your cabinets are warped, badly damaged, poorly built, or no longer fit the way you use your kitchen, replacement may be the better long-term choice.
Paint can transform the appearance of your cabinets, but it will not change the layout, storage capacity, or structural condition of the cabinetry itself. However, when your cabinets are in good shape, the project is handled professionally, and you don't need major functionality improvements, painting can give you a beautiful, long-lasting update without the cost and disruption of replacement.

Project Showcase: A Cabinet Transformation In South Denver
One of our recent cabinet painting projects in South Denver shows just how dramatically the right color and professional finish can transform a kitchen. The homeowners wanted to update their space without the expense and disruption of replacing their cabinets. Their existing cabinets had a dark brown finish that made the kitchen feel heavy and dated, even though the layout and cabinetry were still in great shape.
Our team refinished the cabinets using Sherwin-Williams' Dried Thyme (SW 6186), a rich, modern green that instantly brought new life to the room. The color pairs beautifully with the home’s white countertops and stainless steel appliances, creating a clean and sophisticated look while adding a bit of personality. The result is a brighter, more welcoming kitchen that feels completely refreshed, all without the cost or hassle of a full cabinet replacement!

Repainting cabinets is almost always cheaper than replacing them, especially if your cabinet boxes and doors are still in good condition.
Professional cabinet painting gives your kitchen, bathroom, or laundry a fresh, updated look without the cost, mess, or longer timeline of a full cabinet replacement. At Centennial Painters, we focus on proper prep, durable cabinet-grade coatings, and smooth professional finishes so homeowners can get the look of new cabinets without starting from scratch.
The cost to paint cabinets depends on the size of your kitchen or bathroom, the number of doors and drawers, the condition of the existing finish, and the amount of prep needed.
Cabinet painting is typically much less expensive than replacing cabinets, but a professional estimate is the best way to get an accurate price for your home. We offer free estimates so you know what to expect before the project begins.
Most kitchen cabinet painting projects are completed within 5 to 10 days, depending on the size of your kitchen and the level of detail required.
Not if you want the finish to last. Even if already painted, cabinets still need to be cleaned, degreased, sanded, repaired if needed, and properly primed before a new coating is applied.
Painting directly over old cabinet paint without proper preparation can lead to peeling, chipping, uneven texture, or poor adhesion.
Absolutely. We use low-VOC products and a clean, contained process—so it’s safe and comfortable to remain in your home while we work.
Yes, we offer color consultations for full cabinet painting projects. We’ll help you choose a tone and finish that fits your home’s lighting, decor, and style.
We exclusively use Sherwin-Williams, Benjamin Moore, or Pittsburgh Paints (formerly PPG) urethane enamel—quality paint products known for their durability and moisture resistance. These finishes perform exceptionally well in Colorado’s dry climate.
Looking for color ideas? Check out Sherwin-Williams’ cabinet color inspiration gallery to explore trending shades and timeless favorites.
We typically recommend a satin finish for its balance of durability, cleanability, and soft appearance. Satin resists moisture, hides minor flaws, and holds up to daily use. Semi-gloss is also available if you prefer a more reflective look.
Please empty your cabinets and drawers, clear countertops, and give your kitchen a light cleaning. This ensures optimal paint adhesion and a smooth project start.
Use a soft cloth and gentle cleaner—avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive sponges. With proper care, your finish will stay smooth, vibrant, and durable for years. We offer a special cabinet care guide as well.

Responsive, Diligent, Top Quality
“I recently was doing a small remodel of my kitchen, and needed my cabinets painted. Color world did a great job and had great professionals. They were very responsive and diligent during the process as my work was delayed some. The paint they use is top quality and they really took the care to make my cabinets beautiful. I also was very happy with the price I ended up paying because it was on the lower end in the market. Definitely recommend!”
